In the article the problem of applying effective methods of teaching foreign languages is under study. The most important fact is how to change passive position of students into active one and a teacher’s task is to create positive and comfortable environment of learning process.
Under mainstreaming Russian language teaching process we consider “stimulating” to activity in creating learning environment at foreign language lessons on the base of applying methods to activate teaching process.
So, applying effective methods is directed on creating teaching environment in which both a student and a teacher are partners and a student acquires new knowledge. We should emphasize that a student changes the position from the object of pedagogical process into the position of subject of pedagogical interaction.
There are different views on the term “environment”, “ educating environment”, “teaching environment”, “academic information environment”, that is why we have not a certain term. We will consider the main aspects, forming teaching environment.
Yasvin V.Ya. believes that educating environment is “ system of impact and conditions of forming individuality according to a certain standard, and
- Participants with their attitude, values, interest;
- Abilities, which are subjects of teaching interaction;
- Content essence of subject interaction (psychological, pedagogical, subjective, cultural, reflexive), where the accent is on effective forms of teaching process, possibilities for its development in social and area objective environment” (1,p.14.).
Robert I.V. considers academic - informative environment to be a number of conditions and promotes existing and developing of informative academic interaction process between students and a teacher, and as a result forming student’s activity on condition using such components as (necessary facilities, manuals and so on) enriching the content of a certain teaching course (2).
In Guzeyev’s V.V. point of view a system of teaching are both (a teacher with methods, forms, regulations of process) and conditions, relations and other characteristic of teaching community 3, p.38).
Effective teaching environment is a number of conditions, promoting arising and developing active interaction between a student and a teacher, and forming student’s learning process.
We can point out the following components of effective teaching environment:
- active interaction and cooperation between a student and a teacher;
- Area - time framework of interaction;
- Educating means (methods, forms, and modern informative technology);
- Emotionalpositive climate, of person - educating interaction, which include: trust between subjects of teaching process; projecting the area of learning course on the perception of student; positive student’s reaction to There are two approaches to defining characteristic of effective teaching environment:
“Conditions”, “Impact”, “factors” i.e. any influence “active” environment on “passive” person.
- “Active origin of a subject”, acquiring life environment, where possibilities are considered to be a link between a subject and environment.
- From above stated we can define the following principles of organizing effective teaching environment as a system of conditions and possibilities for forming person’s activity.
- Joint projecting of active teaching environment, including lessons and extra lessons forms of organizing teaching process. Integration of educating, creative, entertainment activity.
- Providing multivariate options a teacher and a student by methods and forms of acquiring the teaching content.
- Combination of theoretical and practical learning, applying methodological ways, having impact on audio, visual means of perception (audio and visual means, directing on inner state of a person).
- Creating teaching process on the system effective methods applying principle “learning creating”.
- Combination of teaching leadership and students’ effective activity through organizing group work, consultation in pairs, circle credits, link between learning and self educating, control and self-control.
- Creating atmosphere at the lessons of foreign language: kindness and organization and teaching process results, applying educating means (4).
While organizing teaching process in active learning environment it is necessary to improve methods of teaching , which possible by means:
- Forming skills of creating effective learning environment at the lessons;
- Applying different effective teaching methods;
- Improving teacher’s communication skills;
- Stimulating development of students’ creative thinking;
- Wide using of collective forms learning activity (work in pairs, groups, role play and so on).

To sum up, it is necessary to note, that effective environment allows creating atmosphere of development, changes activity itself (both students and a teacher), influence on its nature, results, process. The fact is learning interest which is created in this environment, makes it deep and strongy other motives.
Technology of creating teaching environment by means of applying effective methods is characterized by:
- Possessing inner motives of learning process;
- Possessing aims of conscious self development, understanding and making learning decision;
- Having position as an active subject of teaching process;
- Organizing independent searching knowledge, creating situation “opening” when a student agrees to get a position of “explored’ of new knowledge;
- Student’s estimating in self estimating, mutual estimating teacher’s grades, it allows not only to total results, but teaching process on the whole;
- Positive climate of teaching process;
As it has been talks before, teacher’s activity includes: organizing effective students’ activity in teaching process; forming motives on individual characteristics; creating emotional
Thus, creating atmosphere of interaction with the “world” it is necessary to change teaching process nature methods of teaching.
