As the process of globalization involves drastic transformations of economies and societies as a whole, its impact on culture and language must not be underestimated as it can be traced in every aspect of life. To analyse better whether or not the increasinguse of English is detri­ mental to Kazakh language and culture in the long run, a further and de­ tailed research needs to be conducted on the extent of the use of English in Kazakh society and its effects on Kazakh educational system and culture. In the process of globalization Language borrowings are a clear evidence of linguistic dominance of one language over others; Borrowing has been defined as the introduction of phonological, morphological, lexical, and syntactic items from one language or into another. Also, having noted that the spread of English is an indication of glo­ balization process, the analysis of who supports and who opposes to the spread of English in culture in general and in education in specific, one can draw some conclusions who supports and who rejects globalization.

The communicative behavior research gained importance in Kazakhstani linguistics in the first decade of the XXI century. Interest towards the national history, customs and traditions was triggered by intensification of selfconscience of Kazakh people and expanding international relations within and outside the country.

The article deals with the concepts of MARRIAGE and FAMILY in the Kazakh and English languages. The study of these concepts is of interest because they are basic in the system of social relations, and largely deter­ mine the functioning of society, and the institution of marriage and family is one of the integral elements of culture. In the course of the research, var­ ious definitions of the notion of “concept” have been considered, includ­ ing those given from the position of linguoculturology, the significance of which is due to the expansion of international relations and globalization and the need to take into account the specific features of culture and lan­ guage of different nations. The linguocultural aspect of the research can help to identify the universal and national­specific features of these con­ cepts, which is to a large extent explained by their ability to reflect and fix in the language the manifestations of the culture of a particular nation.

The article deals with the comparative study of English and Russian phraseological units. Comparative study of phraseological units in different languages aims at identification and selection of full and partial equiva­ lents, and non­equivalent phraseological units, which do not have the ap­ propriate equivalents in the phraseological system of another language. The study involves data from explanatory, bilingual and phraseological dictionaries, as well as the material from the Internet sources. The inven­ tory of phraseological units became the object of study due to the fact that idioms represent a specific area of folk art, including the whole system of cultural and information values.

Recently turcolgy fulfilled with news. Regularity of its news is com­ mon for world languages which defines development, changes, formation of the language. As a result of this, it was revealed that basic lexic is com­ mon to languages of the world. Article proves that word forms in Kazakh languages ana (туған шеше), apa (mother who gave a birth to the child), ata (great fatherfather of the father) a syllable of the words which means relativeness belong to world languages. According to the author the start of the word apa is *papa. This archeotype was developed by three phonose­ mantic ways: 1) it saved its former form in most languages: *papa ˃papa.

This article analyzes the morphemic structure in the corpus of Kazakh Language, and especially studies stem extraction and affix segmentation. This analysis will be useful to develop programs that relates to Kazakh lan­ guage. There are two examples of the appliance of this analysis
